Party Animals Program

Project Coordinators:
Roisin Pelley
& Mariam Khan

Party Animals serves underprivileged kids in the District by throwing monthly birthday celebrations. With party games, arts and crafts, cupcakes and goodie bags, we bring--and have--a lot of fun!

2 Friday evenings per month, 4:00-7:00
Meet at the Front Gates.

What We Do:
As a group of 8-12 student volunteers, we host seasonal-themed parties at the Fishing School for at-risk children, looking for a role model in a closer
age bracket than perhaps a teacher. We work with the staff ahead of
time to find out which children will be having birthdays in the upcoming
month, as well as how many there are expected to be on that given day.
With this information, we bring party games, cupcakes, and goody bags to
give the party more of a birthday atmosphere.
